Bye Bye Togo and a big thumbs up to Ghana!

There is not a whole lot you can say about saying bye bye to Togo as its literally five minutes from Lome to the border with Ghana.

I was so relieved. It wasn’t just because the smiles were bigger.

It wasn’t just because everyone speaks fluent English. It wasn’t just because you don’t need to constantly negotiate with bush taxis to get around. It wasn’t just for the delicious fruit, especially the pineapple.

And it certainly wasn’t because the other locations of Nigeria, Benin and Togo had been awful Quite simply; it just was.
