Lagos arts and crafts center – awesome place

Not only was I not expecting this sort of place in Lagos, I almost hyperventilated when I saw what was on offer here. For someone who loves souvenirs this place is heaven and sells absolutely everything from beads to brass, from handmade cards to handpainted batik and from wood to paintings.

It’s a little off the beaten track down a dirt path but even if you weren’t on a tour like I was this place is well worth the effort.

Like many markets there is plenty of pressure to buy which can be a bit intimidating although this didn’t seem to appy to everyone.

I was on the whole more than happy to spend some money here for some really nice products mostly of Nigerian Origin.

And make a few new friends.
